If a cheque is dated 18Aug 17 and account opened on 22 August 17,we can credit cheque in his account

    If I don't have any account. somebody gave me a cheque for some purpose wat should I do then, I wil open and deposit so chq date and acc date...

    Yes you can but only after due diligence and checking whether account was not opened purposefully for encasing particular cheque

    No , You can't , As per NI act Chq DT should be on or after account open date

    Please let us know under which section . As we know NI act allow this.

    Yeah.. i dnt thnk its anywhere mentioned in the ni act.. that we cant accept.. please let us know the section
