    Both are means to transfer cash at banks through the electronic route. Under these schemes, individuals can electronically transfer funds from any bank branch to any individual having an account with any other bank branch in the country participating in the Scheme. RTGS - REAL TIME GROSS SETTLEMENT. Here the transaction of cash is carried out real time. Timings: From 9.00 hours to 16.30 hours on weekdays and from 9.00 hours to 14:00 hours on Saturdays. There is no upper limit. Minimum amount is Rs.2 Lakhs.NEFT - NATIONAL ELECTRONIC FUND TRANSFER. Here the transaction of cash is carried out in batches i.e., DNS (Deferred Net Settlements). There are 11 settlements on weekdays and 5 settlements on Saturday. Timings: 9.00 Hours to 19:00 PM on week days and from 10.00 Hours 13.00 Hours on Saturdays. Maximum amount is Rs.50,000/-.
