Can a person or company can have multiple current accounts?? Can a person or company can have multiple current accounts??

 

A big turnover firm maintained current a/c in so many bank but maintain a cc a/c in only one bank

 

If the firm is enjoying credit facilites then it has to operate ca with the same bank if there is necessity then with permission of the financed bank it can open ca and it has to proceed all the funds back into its cc account

 

Customer can have n number of current accounts. If they r enjoying credit facilities from other bank then noc requirements

 

As per RBI/IBA guidelines, all banks have to take an undertaking from their prospective current account customers that they are not enjoying any credit facilities with any other bank and if they have availed such facilities than NOC from that bank is required to open his current account with us. Non-adherence to these guidelines could attract penalties from RBI

 

Noc is required if he has credit from other bank and if he has only current Ac then ??

 

Thn no need of NOC as he will give an undertaking that he is not enjoying any credit facilities with the other bank

 

Why not?? But for each account NOC has to be obtained from exiting bank stating "I/We have not availed any credit facility from any bank/s or financial institution/s"
