Hello group...i have a dual specialisation in finance and marketing...my major being finance....so now is this going to be a problem....plz give me ur feedback...

 

Get a certificate from your Institution stating it as "dual specialisation".Don't mention major or minor.

 

I think it is definitely problem if major is finance . Send ur final degree photo so I understand

 

Read the notification thoroughly, there should be given everything and you can also contacr ibps customer care.

 

I had been to Central Warehousing Corporation. They just looked at that word "Dual Specialisation". They never look at the subjects. You will be going to the interview hall almost empty handed and in Certificate Verification hardly anyone look at subjects.

 

But the problem is that u need to orofuce docs mentioning ur major and minor...it wasn't mentioned earlier but now it has been mentioned...

 

Certificate with Dual Specialisation. They might oblige.

 

Ya i just had a chat over ph...they will provide me with a certificate. But subjects are going to be a headache.

 

I too have been to Central Warehousing Corporation. I had MA degree...They didn't accept mine.. In fact, they checked my subjects, were OK with it but my degree was MA in Advertising and Marketing Management, so they didn't accept that. Also, I have studied specialisation only in marketing for two years.This is the problem in Iindia...they don;t see what the student has studied, bas vo title tally krte h..I was so disappointed.

 

Can I ask you something? Like in my degree it is written Advertising and Marketing, though Advertising is a part of Marketing only but still should I get something in written from the clg??

I don't know... I have been so tensed... Maine to kuch padha he nhi... Coz Central Warehousing me b unhone mana kr diya kyuki specifically Unki advertisement me MBA likha tha....

 

But shud I also get something written from the clg ?? I actually don't know what shud I ask them to write...

 

haha. mam that is not India's problem. it is degree u should blame. by going your words tell me if phd can also do surgery as doctor is used for both phd and mbbs.

 

@Deepak Arya An organization like CWC follows every word by word, for what they have mentioned in their notification. I remember that CWC has strictly claimed to allot only candidates with MBA, and under no circumstances any other PG/Diploma would be considered as the same league. Sadly unwritten rules like these have crushed the dreams and aspirations of many eligible candidates as you. Now coming to IBPS SO, i think they have clearly mentioned PGDM/PGDBM/PGPM/PGDBA/MMS/MBA. Clearly looking at this MA could be eligible. Should you need any further clarifications try to ringing up the helpline.

Major in Finance - If this is mentioned in your degree. Then you ll face the prob. P.S: Most univ. mention only MBA. If there is nothing specified, get a certificate stating dual specialisation.

 

Then they will mention ur major and minor....back to square one...
