How Tough Is The Life For A North Indian In Chennai ?

I have a question after reading many posts on FB... How tough is the life for a north Indian in Chennai? Is Chennai really a unsuitable place for a north Indian? And the most important 3. an excise inspector will be transferred to north after how much time spent in south(Chennai) ??? Genuine reply plz

 

So at least two years you hv to stay there.. Am i right??

 

If u opt for ict generally u got transfered but the proviso is that u will lose ur seniority as u will be junior most in preferred zone

 

Ok but will they transfer you to desired place or its upto them

 

But it must be dependent on if there is any vacancy at that place?

 

But yr south k log real me hm jause gore logo ko tirchhi njr se dekhte hain drte honge kbhi udhr ki sari ldkia north walo pe fida ho jaayein..

Central govt ka aisa koi office ni hai jhn koi vacancy available na ho.. sbhi department round off 80% man power k sath hi kam kr rhe haun

Bhai honest ho to nvr opt for it. Otherwise better than central excise also u have some extra peks like govt vehicle separate office after being superintendent .. central excise preventive me to cabin bhi nseeb walo ko milta hai separate.. promotional scope current scenario u will get two promtions nd retired as ANC with 6600 gp but 2023 me restructuring hogi new post create hongi most probable that you will reach upto DNC which is eqvlnt to JC /ADC of CBEC with gp 7600/8700

 

Delhi me narotics ka kuchh ni hai but u may apply for dgcei and dri for deputation..

Rr k according 5 years me dpc hoti hai in actual 6 to 7 years lg jate hain.. but benifit ye hai k direct 2400 se 4600 milta hai.. aur kisi dpt me aisa ni hai

 

Chennai is not gud... i have been there, not many north Indians prefer chenn

1. I should nt say this bt there is little racism
2. U won't get good friend
3. Too far u wont get much leave
4. U need to spent lot of time in travel.
5. No contacts so u wont enjoy bureaucracy
6. Weather is not good.
7. Cost of living higher thn north
This is first hand experience... many of my friend still work there
Bangalore is bettrr in some of the cases but very costly

Pahli cheej aap Jis zone Mai join karoge usi mai posting rahegi. Out of zone transfer Ni Hoga.Doosri baat aapko within probation local language n Hindi ka paper clear Krna Hoga. Agar 10th Mai Hindi as a subject Lia Tha to paper Ni dena Hai.And rest geographical problem to Hai hi

Bhai excise n ITI Mai vacancies zone wise Hoti Hai. N zone SSC ka Ni respective department ka Dekho. Kuch zone Mai Kai state bhi include hote Hai. E.g. chandigarh
