Signature at back of cheque simply means money has been received by the bearer.

No only the payee can withdraw the amount. Your case seems that some customer of yours has drawn self cheque and send someone else to collect money. in this case if u know the customer u can allow withdrawal and take sign of person who has come to collect cash.

Once a cheque is bearer is always a bearer. No signature of account holder is required at the back of the cheque . But payment should must be made as per NI act. I.e. with good faith, without negligence and in due course. In your case all are in proper place. Don't worry just chillax

No need of signature mandate on back side of Cheque for cash payment in case of bearer cheque

As per NI act 1881 can be paid by obtaining signature of the bearer on back side of cheque.

  13. Back side signature is mandatory for the person receiving payment . Since its a bearer cheque so no circular is required. Just go through basic principles of banking.

Once self is written in front that means cashier is more safe to give payment to the bearerthat is holder of the chq..self is written means whosever is taking payment is on be half of account holder only.if self is written banker is more safe than blank chq

You need to take the signature while handing over the cash, so not necessary that cheque needs to be signed on the reverse prior to submission for en-cashing at the bank. This is however a good practice and not necessarily legally required, unless cheque is being endorsed.
