so if it goes beyond 200.. at max how many words are accpetable ?

 

Nope..I disagree. 205-210 should not attract penalty. Keeping it short ; within 200 but lacking in content will.

 

10% above and below word limit should not be an issue. I received decent marks last year following the same.

 

Precise should be written in 1/3rd of the total words of the given passage. And that is the sole purpose of writing precise in exam.

 

Dont get too much worried about it ...i made a mistake n wrote precis for 400 words instead of 200 words n still managed to get 66.5/100

 

Why don't you write in exact 200 words...in last 3 years... my students had topped in RBI Grade B English.Always write in exact words....200 means 200.I was also topper in RBI Grade B English paper....See more
