    There is less chance of that happening here. Coz the cutoffs of gen and other categories are negligible.

    i think many person of reserve categories,,,those cross general english cutoff have a chance to get a selection as a general because,,,,general and obc cutoff marks is same and sc/st is just .80 less....

    There is a concept called merit listing. If a OBC/SC/ST scores more than a General category guy, the person comes under General as merit candidate

    But there is interview round pending so they don't do it because final score matter
