Yes. But if you are thinking about coming here, have no worries. It is a good place. A lot of north Indians. It is hot in the summer. The rainy season can be a bit long. Food is good. A lot of places to travel to.

 

Kerala is hardly 10 kms from here. Goa is only 8 hours away on road. Good beaches in Mangalore as well

 

You will find beautiful hill stations as well within 100 kms

 

Yes. But i already joined united india on the 9th of this month as i got chikmaglur posting which is hardly 3 hours from my home town.
