state bank of india had closed my sb a/c before giving me any intimation on the reason of kyc updation..... what should i do.....

 

chalo bahut achha sbi khud close kar de rhe mai to close karwane wala tha sbi acc

 

Close karke account balance kya kiya??? Matlab kuch bhi na

 

or wo manager to ro diya h itna complain kiye h hm.... rti se leke pmo tk sb kuch kr diye h

 

It must have stop or dormant/inoperative, no one makes such closure that too without intimation.

 

You should have visited branch for once instead of doing such things which makes no sense.

Banks have power to close any account if inoperative and have no balance for long but at upper level

 

U have to give prior notice before closing ac atleast one month before sir

 

You are account may be zero balance and inoperative for long

 

Haha monthly txn 10 lakhs bank will never closed unless your account is Fraud accoint. Dont try to be oversmart am a banker.

prior your intimation bank cannot close your a/c. Just done inoperative

 

An inoperative account for more than a Year Should be closed... It is not a Guideline but That's what I think. An inoperative account is simply an expense. Transaction are must for a Healthy account.

 

Not operated for many years say 8 to 10 years with no balance should be closed...

 

AC must be dormant .Without intimation they can't close .

 

They had published it in newspaper...so no need of intimation..

ok then why the bm of that branch is requesting me to call back my rti application
