Not necessarily pan card but he/she should either produce any id card or his/her signature should be attested by d a/c holder at d back of d cheque....In other words identity of d bearer should be verified by the bank official.

Bhai pan card lekar karoge kya?? Bearer cheque me aisa koi option thodi h ki system me payee ka pan feed karna h. so it does not matter u take pan card or not. Only thing is that you shud be confirmed about the identity of bearer that the money goes in the hand of the one for whom it is intended. That's all.

    1) Bearer is always a bearer so not to insists signature attestation 2) If there is any possible, advise him to get account transfer [not compulsory]3) Address identity { Voter card, Aadhar card, Pass Book of any Bank, Pattadhar pass book, Authorised letter of EO in Panchayat Office/ Administrative officer, Municipal office, Employer Identity card, Driving License etc.,} but not Ration card
