What are ur priorities? 1) Job title or Job content 2) Location preferences rural / urban 3) Pay preferences short term high salary/ long term higher salary 4) Customer service face to face / back end work?

look all the works will be easy after 2-3 months... u may be given assistant's work i.e. basic inwarding outwarding noting drafting but in most of the cases officers make their own note and many assistants are performing officer's task,,even RD sir says treat yourselves as officers and do whatever you can for it will be a great learning experience...finally only one sentence...the work is not hectic ...you will enjy ur work as well as ur life

Yogendra the department in which you work might not be hectic or somebody might have taken over your work but that's not the case everywhere. An organization like RBI doesn't run all by itself. Assistants are the pillars of RBI, at least that's how I feel about it.

Am a robot or a machine made to work without rest of even a minute. Lunch break also of 15 min hardly. My situation is v pitty.

I have seen many SBI/ PSB POs and some SBI Scale II have joined RBI Assistant and after 4 years they are Assistant Manager in RBI enjoying more power, salary, foreign LFC and most important is peaceful life.

U definitely get more pay as a PO but with lots of responsibilities and tension. If u r gud at marketing nd like to serve common people go for PO. But if u want a relatively relaxed job go for Rbi assistant

  29. I will personally not go for it because of the career opportunities and challenges one face being an SBI PO. However if one is looking for only comfortable life RBI Assistant definitely offers that.SBI PO gets opportunities to reach to the top level in Banking. Exposure of working in Credit , Operations, Forex, International business in India's largest bank is unparalleled. Working as Assistant in RBI means you will get the city posting for next 5-7 years till your first promotion as Grade A officer.

  30. 3 years till Grade AAfter tgat5 years till Grade BAnd you'll get more opportunities to learn as an officer in RBI than any SBI POAnd in SBI PO you'll be able to reach scale 2 after 3 years of your confirmation (I'm not sure for this one)And Im not saying I'm against joining SBI PO or anythingI'm just tellinf the perks of joining as RBI assistant
