the Central Government vide its notification dated 25.07.2016 (see page 35, S.No. 33 and 34 - finmin.nic.in/7cpc/7thCPC...) has accepted the recommendations of 7th Central Pay Commission mentioned at Para 11.35.20 of the report by up-grading the post of Sub-Inspector, CBI and Inspector CBI from existing GP 4200 to GP 4600 and GP 4600 to GP 4800 respectively. The up-gradation will be applicable w.e.f 01.01.2016.
