Finally leaving for interview will reach at evening and interview is tomorrow morningm too confused and afraid. don't know what will happen in interview....

Its never ever based on marks. First category then roll no. First pwd, sc. Then st, then obc and finally general category

 

Both are technology of coping db/disk, but in mirroring copied disk keeped as same physical location whereas in shadowing different physical location.

 

new requirement treated as new project and started from communication phase and at last integrated to parent project.

 

Done with interview, lucknow panel.Asked working of atm, isdn and how slr controls economy. How will you manage postings in rural and why banking sector? In all easy interview, cheerful interviewers.

Lol No! I am just expecting 125. That is acceptable if the cutoff stays 60 or less. At my interview centre students were expecting 135+ so I think I am on the borderline.

 

Done interview in lucknow. Was way too easy. Asked me to talk about myself. Then asked about 10th 12th marks. Then asked about core banking. Talked a lot about family. Then finally asked me what is computer and to tell utility of computer. Thats it. I am scared it was too easy which could mean anything. I have a feeling they might score me low even though I answered everything well. I mean why would they ask me just what is computer and nothing else in IT? Anyway hope for the best.

 

Mine was pretty easy too. And from what I could gauge one of the shortest in the batch. I guess it can mean many things depending on how you want to look at it. It can either be that the written score is so low that they know candidate isn't going to be selected. Or so high that they know that as long as they pass the candidate they're definitely selected....

 

Well I did mention about my father being terminally ill when they asked me about him after which they literally did not ask my any question except the meaning of computer? Do you think this could have caused the interview to be easy?

 

I am expecting at least above 120 in written. But yes its possible that the score might be too low so they didnt even bother. High I don't know. I had 152 attempts. How high can it even go?

 

I had a intrvw in chenni..the intrvw was too easy fr my overall batch..they askd abt d project and askd to introduce myslf then askd abt the function of ibps..tats it

 

Maybe there is a pattern to this if entire batch got easy. I dont know about my batch cause I was 1st to go. Maybe they make batches based on certain criteria?

 

they dont know your written score i think!!! so easy hard aisa kuch nai hota...wo jo man main aaye wopuchtehain...and marks unke mood pe depend karta hai

 

Depends where your interview location is and the "mood" of interviewer. Though if you're experienced then do prepare on it extensively.

 

After interview, celebrated friend's birthday yesterday with beer, whiskey & almost got arrested by police for public drinking...so all in one good memorable day yesterday. & finally got time to post interview experience...First of all, how the hell you guys sit idle for so long waiting for interview after document verification. I was so bored & sleepy that my eyes started watering. However my sleepy tears did made the guy sitting beside me nervous. He might have thought.. "yaar ye to ro raha hai interview k darr ki wajah se, mera kya hoga"..poor guy..may his interview RIP.To overcome boredom, I started to identify so called "Teri Bhabhi" from the lot of girls, after few mins realized "sab sundar IT ki kanya to MNC me hi milti hai". Moving on I started counting number of fans in the room but finished within seconds, there were 16 (4*4). Next moved to my best hobby...tried to analyse who is who, what they are feeling by looking at candidates' faces & actions. Finally gave up & started browsing PG app (I was also shocked myself, when FB is available I chose PG app) "Bigad diya PG k logo ne"A low cost bell rang & I was called for interview. opened the door & said "may I come in" like a trained parrot without looking how many people inside. Could see only 2 people from door, I was like "bach gaya ye 2 log mera kya bigad lenge". Didn't know they had a dungeon in the corner where more people are hiding ready to say "Dhapppaa". As I went ahead, more interviewers came into sight like ekta kapoor's daily soaps i.e. one by one by one. Finally, there were five, 2 on breadth & 3 on length of a rectangle, madam ko sabse end me baithaya tha. I was going to sit on the chair like a king waiting to address his people but restrained myself at the last moment. One asked me to sit on a revolving chair carefully because it moves a lot & that guy joked with other guy "jaise ghodi pe baith te hai shaadi k waqt" or yaha mere to "mann me laddu foota". I was thinking rakkhi kyu aisi tyre wali chair or main kaun sa chair pe baithe baithe bahar ghum k aaunga...so here's the script of interview:M1: shadi ho gayi tumhari?Me: (Mann me dusra laddu foota) nahi sirM1: To job k baad shadi ka irada hai?Me: (blushing like a new bride) daat faad diye bina kuch bole (man me 1 kilo laddu foot gaye)M1: tumne pichli company kyu chod di?Me: sir work life balance, didn't get a leave for months & more than 12 hours a day work. even my seniors said let alone sick leaves, they don't give enough leaves for marriage as well.M2: yaha bhi to 12-12 ghante kaam karna padta h, dekho M1 ko ye 12 ghante se pehle nhi jate(main literally M1 ko dekhne laga, sochne laga yahi mera future hai)M2: money bhi to important hai, acchi salary thi.Me: sir aisa paisa kamane ka kya fayda jab kharch karne k liye time hi na mile.M3: kharcha to biwi karegi shaadi k baad, tum thode hi karoge(all laughed)Me: (mann me to mithai ki dukan khul gayi thi, kumar sweets- serves in marriage & parties) maine bhi apni battisi dikha diM1: kya tha your last project?Me: explainedM1: what is distributed & network database?Me: explained a littleM1: export DB? cold backup?Me: explained export DB, didn't remember cold backup.M1: what is DDL? DCL? select & create are what?Me: Explained DDL, DCL. select & create both are DDL (FYI, select is actually DML, realized my mistake when came out of interview room)M2: which DB you worked? On which server you worked?Me: Oracle 11g & Oracle weblogic.M2: weblogic is middlewareMe: we used weblogic as a serverM3: what can be done to overcome if database is failed during operations?Me: I said have a miniature offline DB at every site till DB comes online which we used to do in our projectM3: there are too many branches & computers to have offline DB. what about parallel DB?

Here in my mind, I started hitting my head on the table)L1: Who is minister of state finance?Me: (kuch to gadbad h daya, itna asaan question, arun jaitley k baare me itna yaad hai ki ab to arun apne ghar ka hi lagta h, bas woh mujhe apne ghar nhi bulata to main bhi usse apne ghar nahi bulata) I said arun jaitleyL1: No, I'm asking minister of STATE finance? (iss baar itna jor diya madam ne state pe ki 1 min me pure 29 states ghum aaya India k)Me: thinking...thinking...took a guess..Jayant SinhaL1: Ok! (shukar ho sonakshi sinha ka jiski wajah se mujhe jayant sinha yaad aa gaya)He made a recent comment? what is it?Me: (Main kaun sa uski friends list me add hu jo mujhe pata hoga) not able to remember mam, can you give me a hint?L1: newspaper padhte ho? newspaper me bhi aaya tha aaj k, something on taxMe: (ek or ajeeb sa question...main to bas newspaper pakad k baith jata hu, pakde pakde bor ho jata hu to padh bhi leta hu) yes mam padha tha aaj ka newspaper, but yaad nahi.L1: theek hai jao.jaate jaate M3 ko yaad aaya ki mood fresh kar diya ladke ne, all the best to bol du. so he said "All the best"I said, "Thank you sir"bahar kuch bakre taiyaar baithe the suit boot me katne k liye to unhe itna bol diya ki ok ok gaya & panel friendly hai.In short, I was doing pepsodent ad the whole time & just wondering kab koi darwaje se khubsurat ladki aaye or bole kya aapke toothpaste me namak hai. Maine pura time gujrat se bengal tak ki smile banaye rakhi.I know it's a long post, but I wanted to make sure ki koi ab ye na puche kaisa gaya, kya kya pucha, so jo pucha yahi h post me...All the best!

interview :white house apartments patnatiming :1:00 pmreached at 11:30 amdate :16 marchat about 1:15 pm gates were opened.we were asked to sit according to various panel number.hiccup:while i was asked for biometric quite early ,biometric actually was a MISMATCH!!I was under no pressure however guys in my group kept on asking as to what was wrong,did i actually give the exam,citing instances were candidate was expelled,arrested etc etc.still when i kept on saying "its ok. once i wash the thumb i guess it would just be fine".and that's precisely what happened.ps:keep calm,all ij well

 

Interview complete. They only asked basic questions from networking & database. Rdbms, TCP/IP, data mining etc. I only skipped Indexing of database and not aware of Bangladesh Central bank's 80 million hacking. Satisfied with my interview. It's excellent. I manage them to deviate to off topic - history & politics. They appraise me for the giving information about it. 4 men + 1 women; all are 50+. Approx 15 min of interview.

My Name Starts From 'A' and My Registration Number Was 7th In Serial Amongst The Shortlisted 153 Candidates In The List of Qualified Candidates Published By IBPS,
What are my chances of being among first few for interview ?
So I could prepare accordingly.

 

List is prepared according to registration no. And in iinterview(@ centre) they call you according to roll no. I think cutoff of HR is 115.25, if you expecting 125+ marks then it's a safe score. Keep focus on your core section, because in Mumbai professionalism matters

 

total 6 days . 2200 approx called for interviewso 1/3 of 2200 = approx 740 are left for interview

 

itne khush ho k "nahi maloom" bhi comment kar diya..

 

Anyone cud plz explain me database data warehouse and datamarts wid an example...wud appreciate dis help ...tnx in advance

How did u feel about the panel?The questions they asked were ok but the chairman's attitude was not good.....felt like attending a po interview....why banking after engg?.....u people don't have definite goals in life that's why u study engg. and come to banks.....
