I have previous IT Officer exeprnce + my intrvw was very very good.. was able to answer all questions(including some bank related stuffs that only bank people can know), they were very very satisfied..is there any chance I can get 80?

Generally speaking, how much weight do they give to past work ex in an interview? Like a bonus of 10 marks? 20 marks?

 

Last year written cutoff for sc was 90,,, though last candidate to get job had 51.00 marks as final. Now this year cutoff for written is 96.63 for sc,,, hence expect final cutoff for last candidate around 49.

Posting happens at Data Centers of the bank, so if your preferred bank has a data center in your hometown they you will get hometown posting

 

At interview time, my interviews cleared that there is no HQ in Bihar nor any Data Centre. So, Are you ready to relocate anywhere in India.

 

Not anywhere but it all depends upon the choices.
Are you sure that IT officers do not get posted at Regional Offices?

You can actually get posted to the regional office closest to your home on medical/humanitarian grounds. HRD ko select hone ke baad ek acchi se emotional application likhna ki kaise ghar baar sab sambhalne ka zimma aapke upar hai. And then keep your fingers crossed.

 

Yup. I know a lady who works in PNB as SO IT. Was posted in Data Center Delhi but was originally from Jaipur. She wrote to them right after getting placed in Delhi and they shifted her to Jaipur in three months.

@erahulk one question I got 116.88 I am three + yr experience interview was good.....would they give some benefit of experience....what's your opinion

 

If your interview was excellent or above average then, you benefited by it. Otherwise it didn't help you.

 

interview was OK they basically asked salary then experience then y leaving Tcs,then cBS then what is networking then networking equipment then family background and at last every one wished me all the best. This was the whole interview

 

Interview was OK .they asked about schooling then college then about experience then y leaving Tcs . after this they asked CBS ,NETWORKING NETWORK EQUIPMENTS IN BANK WHY COMPUTER GETS SLOW IN BANK,THEN FAMILY BACKGROUND, then all of them wished me all the best .this was the whole interview

Those who have given interview in Lucknow...The chairman of the interview panel givesaverage marks 60-70 in interview for very good interviews. He also gives 55-60 for average interview and for bad interview 50-55. So don't expect much in interview.I am sure about it as in RRB scale 2 officer he was the chairman and for ateast 12 candidates I have checked out the marks after RRB Scale 2 it officer

 

I knew. Kuch poocha hi ni tha, average marks hi milne hain. Shakal bata rahi thi unki ki maze le rahe hain. Matlab interview mein 50 tak milne hain.

 

They asked questions like atm, slr rates and why is computer used? Matlab interview mein kuch aisa to poocho jisse saamne waale ka assessment ho. Sabse same question mere group mein. Jo bahar nikle same questions pooche usse :/ To average sabko milenge.
