the thing is every GIC recruit more no of candidate from the state in which their HO situated.For NICl we have only 40 vacancies and for UIICL it was 60 something.So with NIACL i guess we got the benefit of having HO in the state + i read somewhere that Maharashtra has the most no of vehicles in India and GIC's main business is motor insurance policies so you got my point.
