Do we have any confirmation xam after probation period to get confirm as permanent employee ? And what is the probation period ? Thanking u in adv.

 

as mentioned by in previous post, there is no exam for confirmation for SOs. For probation it is 2 yrs.

 

For SBI leased housing option, say if the maximum permissible amount is 30k (how much is it actually?), and house rent increases annually (usually by 10%) => today if I opt for 30k rent, and next year landlord increases rwnt to 32k, then will SBI cater for the increased rent ?

Also, in mumbai, brokers asks for brokerage again after 11 months even though you stay in same house, does SBI cater for such amount after 11 months ?

lease agreement should signed for a fixed period of 3 years and there should be NO change in rent for the entire period (this clause is not agreed by most house owners).brokerage will be paid only once for a house.

 

anyhow, some house owners will prefer lease.. we'll have to find them.. or make them accept by offering a rent of 2-3K above their quote for 3 yrs..

 

30K is the max amt - for mumbai afaik.. in other metros it varies.. around 20K..if you're posted in navi mumbai area, you can find a good house within the limit.but corp. centre area (nariman point), tough..

 

oh.. Sir is there any upper limit for housing deposit ? I checked on internet, some house owners are taking deposit as high as 1.62 lacs..

 

How many transfer will be happened in probation ?is there any chance to get Delhi posting in whole life .?

 

during first 4 years, mostly, there wont be any change in the centre where you're posted.tat delhi for whole life, if u're lucky you might get 've seen some ppl, working in same centre for their entire service you can be posted in the same state upto promotions of scale 3, after that, there's no guarantee, posting shall be anywhere.

 

Are postings in home states(other than Mumbai) decided on the basis of marks?Say for instance there are 20 vacancies in a certain state and the no. of candidates who have been selected from that state is 40 then on what basis will they be alloted their home states because sbi has not asked for posting preferences?

had posted earlier that when someone does certifications then they reimburse exam fee and also provide one time honorarium. Not sure of ccna/ccnp in particular. can help..

 

there's reimbursement+honorarium provision for CCNA, but i think its not there for CCNP.can't say.. few job profiles involve coding.. few do not.. even if your job profile involves programming, you can learn and do at your own pace..

congrats if it's as soon as July, you would have only very few days of casual leave and no option for privilege leave. anyhow you can opt for some sick leave/leave in loss of pay..as says, where there is a will, there's a way don't worry Remember to invite us for the party

 

Does AMSY job involve any coding or development work ?? Does SBI have any in house s/w development center ?? If yes what technologies / tools you guys mostly work on ??

 

few depts/roles involve coding/dev works. there's nothing like a dedicated centre for developing s/w's.. each dept in IT Centre @ Navi Mumbai, will have some ppl taking care of dev.Wrt tools/techs -> web sites are on php, .net, jsp.. some portals in liferay,sharepoint..,DB mostly oracle..,for mobile apps, kony.

 

: How are the candidates allotted a particular role or technology ? Are they asked for preference or just randomly ?

 

gross total sal would be around 5.5 L.. deductions like pf,nps would bring the taxable salary from 4-4.5 L...house lease/rent is not is not considered.

 

Does the working hours stretch beyond 8-9 hours ?? Does the work require one to be as busy as the PO's or we can get some free time to prepare for other things during work ?

 

but that working hour thing is somewhat subjective. depends on dept/place where you're posted and your boss.

 

Plse let me know about overall and sectional cutoff marks... This will help for next so exam preparation.. Thanks

Congrats to all!! I request all of you to post your pk section mark along with the shift(morning/afternoon). Just wanna see pattern in shifts remain same or it differ in difficulty level.

 

: if extension requested is 3 months or less, they give a date that candidate has requested. getting extension more than that is given afaik, only for very spl cases (eg. accident, some serious med problems, pregnancy etc.,).. in such cases they are asked to join with the next batch..

 

So as per this pay structure, how much increment will be der every yr in scale 1. And how many yr it ll take to becm scale 2 ?

 

i've described the exact pay structure in some previous posts in the group.. pl look for it.. -->for becoming scale 2 it'll be approx. 4 yrs

 

JAIIB & CAIIB will help in promotion to scale 2. will they reimburse for these exam ? Passing these will fetch any increment ?

 

: passing jaiib/caiib will give one increment each.. does not have much influence wrt promotions.. no reimbursements will be provided for jaiib/caiib
