  1. @Gazala Jamshed irrespective of public sector or private sector ,every employer has exclusive right of choice to decide how and who their employees should be ,going by your logic that PSU s should treat every citizens equal ,then having age limit is also illegal

  2. @Sameer Sandotra Read "equality of law and equal protection of law" of our constitution to understand why preferential treatment is wrong.

  3. The age limit is for convenience. Imagine the number of applications that will be received if people in their 40's, 50's and 60's start giving govt. exams. Everyone has a chance to enter PSU's before they turn 30, so it's a fair treatment for all.

  4. @Gazala Jamshed Article 14 states about equality of law and against discrimination discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth . That doesn t fit to granting government jobs ,even if we assume what you say as true Reservation on basis of caste overrides this article ,which is a separate amendment ,similar to that it is reservation under sports quota . u mean to say that RBI HR department is so dumb that they act against constitution .whatever is done is in accordance with existing rules and laws of the land.

  5. @Sameer Sandotra I am saying it's against the ethics of the constitution, not against the law. And as far as reservation based on caste is concerned, they too have to prepare for the exams and clear it. It's only the sportspeople who get in without even giving the exam.

  6. @Gazala Jamshed first of all you must know that ethics is how you interpret the constitution ,there are many provisions ln constitution which is contradictory and overriding within itself. just because you are not getting job and other got a job doesn't mean constitution is violated, you assume he s selected just like that he waled into rbi office and got the appointment letter. but you should mind that he is selected in sports quota ,even in sports quota ,there is competition and he got the job because he cleared benchmarks set by RBI for that quota. IF you want to know how he is selected file an RTI and know. just don t rannt here with your wild assumptions . work smart

@Gazala Jamshed instead of being jealous ,why don t you work hard and crack the exam if you want job ? did you made same rant when P V sindhu , Dhoni and other sport persons got job in different govermnet organiszations?

  9. The fact that he got a job without giving the exam (which even physically challenged candidates have to give) is NOT an assumption. There should be a level playing field for everyone, which in this case is the centralised examination.

  10. @adonismale Arguing against injustice is not a rant. And yes, the jobs given to other sports personalities is also unwarranted.

I chose not answer. You be happy with your comment. I said anyone can express but you think only you know only on sport quota. Yes engineering candidates should not enter for normal out of context job unless some analysis or data related job is there apart from their core engineering but our country can not provide at par educational standard job so they seat as per Niti Ayog committee and offcourse they pass in the respective exams its not like you pass sbi po so to your honour you are given another job so is happening for this cricketer. No engineering students at the beginning class 12 aspire to be a banker or out of context job everybody wants to be within trade. Engineering students get job as they are surplus in numbers demand for one seat has become high and majority of demand stake are of engineering so definately question patterns are also like their type..

To all those who are commenting here, @Sameer Sandotra is already a RBI Grade B officer. He cleared the exam last year It's better to take tips from him regarding exam preparation rather than arguing with him. Chill guys

  13. WTH is this logic? So what if a person is even governor but has such narrow and dogmatic views that he can't see logic beyond his own views and hell bent on insulting persons with different views to prove his point.

I think almost everybody commenting here is illiterate. He has been appointed on sports quota. RBI has reserved vacancy for sports quota personnel. Also Ishan Kishan has been appointed at Patna office.

  17. what an awesome use of word "illiterate". Literally new meaning of illiterate has been invented. Kudos to you!

I don't know why people are loosing their sleep over this issue.. RBI has been awarded Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar in 2016, for employing sportspersons and other welfare measures.. This initiative is one of them..

giving an honour to the one who is playing and representing our country is our Govt's duty . fr sustainability of life after sport is imp . otherwise we will blame our govt fr not supporting our national players like we always do CRITICISM . the hiddin matter we r nt seeing is Govt should take such steps in all field of sports whether the sport has low popularity or high popularity . this will encourage our youth to enter in sports and sustainability integrity will be achieved

Absolutely correct brother.I feel this facility should be extended to players who are backward financially and can not concentrate on sport not like a player earning in crores and endorsed by multi national companies still ask for a railway jobs or like other any jobs.

Sports quota should be taken as equivalent to academic brilliance....ofcourse such people ve been involved in their respective sports rather in purduing regular academics.....they main idea behind giving sports quota is dat their achievements in their sport is considered as excellence in their domain....as other persons on regular jobs achieve experience n promotion by passing exams.....giving them job by sports quota is commendable....like felicitating them for their performance.....
